Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata Receives $390,000 in New Grants to Support its Growth Ahead of Opening
Catholic, co-ed, classical high school to open fall of 2025 in MetroWest, Boston
Boston, MA — March 22, 2025 — Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata is excited to announce the receipt of two significant grants, totaling $390,000. These generous grants, from the Charles J. Caron Foundation and the McNeice Foundation, will advance the school’s mission to open an affordable, co-ed, Catholic, classical high school in MetroWest, Boston.
Charles J. Caron Foundation Grant: $150,000 to Support Educational Excellence
Chesterton Academy is grateful to have received a $150,000 grant from the Charles J. Caron Foundation. This significant contribution will provide support for the school’s operational expenses, ensuring academic excellence at an affordable tuition. The funding will strengthen the school’s commitment to providing a rigorous and Christ-centered curriculum for students from all economic backgrounds. “We are deeply grateful to the Charles J. Caron Foundation for their support of our mission,” said Nathalie Calvo, Chair of the Board of Directors of Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata. “This grant will help us provide local families with an exceptional education that guides students in the pursuit of Truth, Goodness and Beauty and prepares them to live their vocation with courage and joy.”
McNeice Foundation Grant: $240,000 Over 5 Years to Support Programmatic Growth
In addition, Chesterton Academy has received a $240,000 multi-year grant from the McNeice Foundation, which will be distributed over the next five years. This funding will be used to support the operations and salaries of Chesterton Academy’s quality teachers, helping to ensure that a classical Catholic education remains accessible to more families through its ongoing commitment to an affordable tuition.

These two grants will provide Chesterton Academy with critical resources necessary to further its mission and foster the intellectual and spiritual growth of its students.
