Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata to Host Archbishop Richard G. Henning and Dr. Peter Kreeft at 2025 Inaugural Gala in Newton, MA
New classical academy hosts “Against the Current” gala February 1st to draw support
Framingham, MA – January 14, 2025 - Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata, an independent classical Catholic high school, is pleased to announce that Archbishop Richard G. Henning of the Archdiocese of Boston will attend the school’s Inaugural Gala, “Against the Current,” on February 1, 2025, at the Boston Marriott Newton. The Archbishop will offer his support for the academy as it marks this significant milestone in its journey. The evening will also feature Dr. Peter Kreeft, Professor of Philosophy at Boston College, as the keynote speaker, and Franciscan University Professor John Walker, who portrays G.K. Chesterton on EWTN’s Chesterton Station, as the emcee.
Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata is an independent Catholic high school coming to the Archdiocese of Boston. The co-ed classical high school is scheduled to open in the MetroWest Boston area in the fall of 2025 and is currently accepting student applications.

Together, their presence underscores the significance of Catholic education and the vision we have for Chesterton Academy of the Immaculata.”
Dr. Kreeft is an esteemed author, speaker, and expert on the writings of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. His works include Socratic Logic, A Summa of the Summa, Prayer for Beginners, and Back to Virtue, among many others.
